This summer, Ashland-Greenwood is hosting the LinOma Summer Musical. It will be open to anyone currently grades 8-12, regardless of what school they attend. I began this venture especially to share our amazing PAC facilities with kids who might not have regular access to such spaces, but also for kids to be able to perform in a group of like-minded, theatre-focused peers. This experience could be helpful to anyone interested in a further musical theatre opportunity, especially during the summer. College Theatre students have been hired as directors, fulfilling the roles of Head Director, Head Tech Director, Lead Music Director, Lead Choreographer, and Assistants for each position other than Tech.

The musical will be The Addams Family! Rehearsals will begin in the evenings on June 1 and production dates will be July 31st-August 2nd. Every practice will be hosted at A-G PAC at our Middle School, as well as our band/choir rooms, practice rooms, and our dance studio. We are looking for both cast and crew! Our current goal is at least 48 students across at least 15 different schools, and this program will be 100% compatible with Midland's All-State Musical.

Audition submissions will open up March 9th-April 20th and are comparable to ASM audition, differing only slightly. As follows:

One 60-90 second audition solo; accompaniment preferred, Musical Theatre preferred.
First verse of My Country 'Tis of Thee; unaccompanied.
